Mairood Resort, Trat Province
Mairood Resort is located in Mairood Village, Trat Province, near the Gulf of Thailand and close to the Cambodian border at Hat Lek. It is approximately 35 km from Trat town, 20 km from the Hat Lek border crossing, and accessible via major highways. For travelers coming from Bangkok or crossing from Cambodia (via Poipet, Ban Pakard, or Hat Lek), there are several options.

From Bangkok to Mairood Resort
By Car (Self-Drive or Private Transfer):
- Rent a car or hire a private taxi/van for direct travel to Mairood Resort.
- The route typically follows Highway 3 (Sukhumvit Road) or Motorway 7, passing through Chonburi, Rayong, and Chanthaburi.
- Continue on Highway 318 toward the Cambodian border (Hat Lek). Look for the turnoff for Mairood Village near the 55 km marker on Highway 318.
- A private transfer offers flexibility and convenience, especially when traveling with luggage or in a group.
By Bus (Public or Private Services):
- From: Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekamai) or Mo Chit Bus Terminal.
- To: Trat Bus Station.
- Duration: 5-6 hours.
- Upon arrival at Trat Bus Station, contact Mairood Resort to arrange a private transfer for the final 55 km journey via Highway 318.
By Minivan (Shared Service):
- Minivans depart from Ekamai Bus Terminal and take approximately 4-5 hours to reach Trat.
- They are slightly faster than buses but have limited luggage space.
- From Trat, contact Mairood Resort to arrange a private transfer to the resort.
By Flight + Taxi:
- Flight Duration: 1 hour (Bangkok to Trat Airport).
- Bangkok Airways operate daily flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Trat.
- From Trat Airport, contact Mairood Resort to arrange private transport for the 1-hour drive (48 km) to the resort.
From the Cambodian Border at Hat Lek:
- Distance: 20 km (approximately 30 minutes).
- Take Highway 318 toward Trat. Look for the Mairood Village turnoff near the 5 km marker and follow signs to the resort.
- By Taxi or Songthaew: Local taxis and songthaews are available at the border. Negotiate a fare for a direct ride to Mairood Resort.
- Resort Pick-Up: Contact Mairood Resort to arrange private transport from Hat Lek.
