Mairood Resort is designed to provide a variety of choices in its spacious surroundings
Our lush tropical garden with a multitude of orchids and tropical flowers blooming throughout invites indigenous birds, butterflies and the occasional hermit crab to wander about. In the distance you will hear fishing boats coming and going.
There are many seating areas scattered throughout the resort both in the sun and the shade and a favourite spot alongside the tidal lagoon with swinging lounges and pair of Brazilian hammocks where you can enjoy the sea breeze.
A sala, the Thai version of a pavilion, is situated by the lagoon where guests can have traditional Thai massage, meditate or spend time working on a special project.
Breakfast and evening meals are served in the open air dining room, which is also the location of the guest computer.
Beach
A walk past the lagoon leads you to some sandy stretches of uninhabited beach.
For public beaches you can rent scooters or get a lift to Ban Chuem or Sala Ratchakarun.
